Summer plans..

While the weather is crummy and we are inside all day I have been strategically planning out our summer. It looks like Andreas is going to be pretty busy with the biz so it's mostly just me and the little misses for our last summer together before baby girl comes in September.

I've planned swim lessons, gymnastics, art classes, a week trip to Vegas and St. George to visit friends, California wedding, some Moab weekends, and many many day trips. I'm starting to feel the pregnancy aches in some places so I gotta keep truckin! Everything in between will hopefully be projects like these:

Recycle tees into baby gowns

Some headbands

A car seat canopy (I've had my eye on some fabrics at the stitching corner for quite some time.)

Better get started right?! I made a killing at Savers today on vintage tees. Some will be perfect for a newborn and some will be perfect to chop down for Sadies size.

My mom told me to look for maternity clothes at Savers awhile back and never got around to it until today. {To be honest I was thinking "Icky"} I haven't been there in years and the whole store is WAY nicer than it used to be. I found 3 pairs of Gap Maternity Pants/Comfy bottoms that I am super excited about. They are all in the hot wash right now. I think Savers just made it's way back into my life.

Some pictures from the last couple of months

Sadie loves making fruit loop jewelry. She loves eating them even more.

Her very first face painting. {princess dolls never leave her hand}

Her first year on skis! She only ended up going a couple times this season but did so good!

She is obsessed with anything princess {Can you tell}

Painting rocks with Papa and Michelle.

Some funny stories about Sadie from the last couple of months:

-One day we went to the store in Lindon and took some back roads to get there. It was right after all the snow was melting and there was some baby horses rolling around in the mud. I pointed and said "Sadie, hurry look!" Thinking she would think it was so cute to see horses rolling in the mud. Instead she says "Oh, what the heck, I do not want those horseys in my car seat" (because they were all muddy) She really does not like to get dirty and it was the first time I've ever heard her say "What the heck" Oopsies ;)

-She usually calls her papa after she wakes up from her nap to tell him that she is awake and that he should come home from work. One day I gave her the phone and she talked for a little bit and then said "Papa, I miss you okay?" Her little voice just melts my heart.

-I hate the word fart so ever since she was tiny I have used a different word. I would call a fart a toots then it moved on to toots-a-rootsens somehow and now every time she "toots" she says "woopsies, i just toots-a-rootsened!"

-She sees my belly growing so she always pushes her belly out too. One day she was pushing out her belly and says "ohhh, the baby is getting so big."

I can't believe that Sadie is going to be 3 this week but I am so lucky to have her {and another on the way}

More pics to come!

"Colors in the sky"

A couple weeks ago there was a full double rainbow when we were out getting gas. (In this pictures you can only see one arch) It was amazing! When we got out of the car sadie was saying "Colors in the sky!!" over and over again. It was so cute. then she ran in the house and made everyone come out and see the colors in the sky. Now a days, she always asks me where the colors in the sky are. Sadie is my favorite person in the world.

Moving stuff..

Our little condo flooded on Thursday so we moved on up to Andreas parents house in Lindon. Pictures are severely lacking, but on the plus side, its working out really well in the basement. I love being up in this area, There is so much to do up here. i drive up this way everyday anyways so I save a lot of driving time now. I felt like I was living on an island away from everyone when I lived in Provo. Anyways, More posts to come....Hope everyone is doing well!
