Tulip Festival-May 1, 2009

We took Sadie to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point on Friday. It was gorgeous and so refreshing to be out in the open air. I forgot to bring the stroller so Sadie walked the entire way. Probably 1-2 Miles of walking. She was ahead of us most of the day until the very end, I was amazed.

A couple flowers along the trail fell over and she would stop and try and perch them back up again.

This was my favorite tree, It reminded me of the big version of a Bonzai.

Here is Sadie in the Secret Garden. They had a little nook and a pond that all the kids were getting soaked in.

Thanksgiving Point plants 250,000 Tulips every year for this festival. At the end of May they take all those tulips out and sell them. That is so many flowers...

Adrian, Doris, and Bonnie (Andreas' brother, grandma, and mom)

I love tulips. When the tulips start coming out, you know summer is right around the corner. Hallelujah!
