The find of the day..

paperbackswap.com

In a nutshell:
1-You start with 10 books you want to swap and give to someone else.
2-You get 1 credit each time another member orders your book. (You pay postage to that person, and whenever you order from someone else, they pay postage)
3-You use those credits to order any book you find on their database. (I was thinking they would not have a lot of good books but I actually found the secret life of bees, memory keepers daughter, kite runner, alchemist, ps i love you, etc)
4.Pretty much it means you pay $1.59-2.44 a book (that's approximately how much postage is to send each book)

I thought it was pretty cool so I wanted to share. I haven't done too much research so if it doesn't work out, don't kill me. :)

if it's on someone's wishlist, then as soon as you list the book it is "saved" for them for 48 hours. they have to say they want it within that time frame or it goes back into the pool. if it's on multiple wish lists then it goes down the list allowing each person (in the order that they placed it on their wish list) a chance to request the book. so that part sort of sucks if people don't decide quickly. a lot of my books are not mainstreem books, so they were on wishlists and were claimed fast. books like "the kite runner," which i listed, will take a while to go because there are so many others in the queue. so if you have lesser-known books they actually go faster than the typical best-sellers. at least that's what i've figured out so far...
